The Carrasvilla winery is situated in Peñafiel, Valladolid and was established in 2017 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of its founder, Avelino Vegas. All their vines are planted to Tempranillo. The vineyards sites are in La Aguilera (centennial vines), Tubilla del Lago (low yield), Quemada (900m elevation), and Campillo de Aranda (low yield).

The soils here are limestone and sand, and the fruit is hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel. The wines undergo malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, and are further aged in new French oak barrels. The winemaker is Cristina Vegas, granddaughter of Avelino Vegas. The winery produces two wines: Avelino Vegas 100 Aniversario, and Avelino Vegas Aureo.
