Bodega Emina was built in 2005 by Carlos Moro. The winery is located in Valbuena de Duero, the same village as some of Ribera’s most iconic wineries. Their vineyards are spread across the prestigious villages of Olivares de Duero, Valbuena de Duero and Pesquera. As a part of the philosophy of Carlos Moro, the vineyards are located exclusively on the right bank of the river, on very steep slopes.

For Bodega Emina, the emphasis must always be on the fruit and vineyard expression, so they avoid over-extracted, full-bodied styles of wine. The winemakers are, Verónica Pareja, Marta Arias, Félix González and Carlos Moro.
