Bodega Sarmentero was established in 2004 by Amparo Repiso Vallejo, a fourth generation winemaker. The winery is based in Quintanilla de Arriba, Valladolid, and has 7 hectares of Tempranillo under vine in Quintanilla de Arriba and in Padilla de Duero.

The winemaking team is Amparo Repiso Vallejo and Maria Lopez Repiso. All the wines are spontaneously fermented and vegan friendly.
