Bodegas Traslascuestas

Bodegas Traslascuestas is owned by the Fernández de Piérola family who planted their first vineyards in 1905 in Rioja, where the family own two wineries to this day. Bodegas Traslascuestas was established in 2009 in the town of Valcavado de Roa, Burgos, after the family found an estate with outstanding vineyards growing at an altitude of 900m.

The winery has 110 hectares of Tempranillo under vine, and is run by Carlos Bujanda Fernandez de Piérola. Bodegas Traslascuestas is passionate about sustainable production, and all the electricity it uses comes from geothermal energy.
