Buen Camino

Buen Camino are a small family winery based in the village of Tórtoles de Esgueva, in the northwest of Ribera del Duero. They have 12 hectares of vines planted on rocky limestone soils at an altitude of 850-950m. Buen Camino mainly works with Tempranillo, but it also has some plantings of other varieties such as Garnacha and Albillo. The winery is run by Javier Vallejo and his two sons Jorge and Javi. They practice organic farming, and the wines are made in a small-scale, artisanal manner
