Manchón Mieres

Manchón Mieres is a small family-owned winery located in the town of Pesquera de Duero, in the “Golden Mile” of Ribera. Their 16 hectares of vines are spread over two farms that sit at an altitude of 900m.

In 2014 the winery started making wine from its own vineyards, which are planted to Tempranillo. The wines are all spontaneously fermented in order to preserve as much of the character of the vineyards as possible. Rebeca and Esther, known as ‘Enodivinos’ make the wines at Manchón Mieres.
