Pinna Fidelis was founded in 2001 by a group of 71 growers. The vineyards run along a thin stretch of land along the River Duero. Some vines grow on the high slopes south of the river around Fompedraza and Canalejas, and others on the northern lower hillsides of Peñafiel, Pesquera and Bocos, Piñel de Abajo and, at the northernmost end, Piñel de Arriba.

The estate has a total of 220 hectares of Tempranillo under vine. Rafal Rubio is the winemaker and Miriam del Pico the assistant winemaker. The fruit is always carefully hand harvested to ensure that highest quality fruit is selected, and the philosophy in the cellar is to combine traditional methods with modern technology.
