Vinos Rubén Ramos is a small family winery first established in 2001 by winemaker Rubén Ramos. There is a long tradition of viticulture in Rubén’s family, and he is dedicated to making wines in an artisanal and tradition manner. His 14 hectares of Tempranillo vines are planted in Peñafiel, on sandy-loam that sits on a subsoil of limestone and clay.

Rubén works the vines by hand, and limits treatments in the vineyards. All of his wines are aged in French and American oak, and then further aged in bottle.
