Bodega Alvides

Bodega Alvides was established in 2001 by three siblings who have been vine growers in Ribera since 1976. This boutique winery is located in Villalba de Duero, with vineyards in the regions of La Aguilera and Villalba de Duero (altitude of 790m).

The winery owns 19 hectares of Tempranillo vineyards, and the first vines were planted 90 years ago. The grapes are hand harvested and vinified plot by plot, before being aged in French oak. The winery is currently working towards organic certification, which they hope to receive next year. Héctor Casado is the third generation winemaker.
