Bodegas Vitulia

Bodegas Vitulia is a family winery established in 2006. The owners are a family of grape growers headed by Isacio Arranz, with Guillermo LLorente as the winemaker. The vineyards are located in Burgos as well as in Segovia (Honrubia de la Cuesta) where the vines grow at an altitude of 925m.

The winery has 60 hectares of vines largely planted to the Tempranillo variety, as well as some Albillo and Merlot. The vines range from 25-30 years old but the winery also purchases some grapes from older vineyards. Bodegas Vitulia aims to make terroir-driven wines that reflect each vintage, and they try to keep intervention in the cellar to a minimum.
