Bodega San Roque de la Encina is located in Castrillo de la Vega, near Aranda de Duero. The winery was founded in 1956 by 250 local growers to form a cooperative.

The Bodega’s 400 hectares are planted to a number of different varieties including Tempranillo and Garnacha, as well as some white varieties. Luciano Calvo is the head winemaker.
