Westbury is a wine-specific PR, trade relations and market development consultancy.
We run highly tailored campaigns that are carried out annually or on a project-by-project basis, responding to the individual needs of each client. Our clients range from small artisan wineries to specific regions, global brands and UK based wine businesses and retailers.
Westbury was founded in 1992 by Sue Harris, Managing Director, who has over 25 years experience in the UK and international wine trade.
We have a professional and dynamic approach to the industry and are widely regarded as one of the top wine agencies in the UK.
All Westbury staff are wine qualified and have worked in the wine industry before joining Westbury.
OUR CLIENTS
I've been working with Westbury Communications for several years now, and it has been a delight. Sue always hires the best, smartest PR professionals, and they are very active, reaching out and getting to know journalists and working in partnership with them. They never waste my time and if I need anything they are responsive. And I've always found their press trips to be well organised, relevant and interesting.
Wine Writer
Westbury is the pre-eminent specialist company doing wine-related PR for their clients in the UK. Those who work for them are genuinely interested in wine (over and above their jobs) and have a strong handle on what makes the market tick. They always do detailed research to create and adapt their strategies, and are very well-connected with journalists and opinion-formers.
I have found their marketing strategies to be original, imaginative and targeted. They considerably helped to raise the profile in the trade of two of their major clients recently.
On a personal note, whenever I have dealt with Westbury, I have found them to be very efficient, friendly and enthusiastic.
Director, Les Caves de Pyrene
Westbury has been working for years on the notoriety of our wines in the UK. Sue has always been able to surround herself with the best people to convey our passion to the best British and European journalists. This relationship with the press is essential but they also maintain excellent relations with the entire UK wine trade. I rarely give my opinion about a person or an agency, but if I had to select the best agency, it would be Westbury.
Export director, Plaimont Producteurs
