Wines of Attica Masterclass & Open pour tasting
Wines of Attica presents a 'Styles of Savatiano' Masterclass and open pour tasting. The Masterclass will be led by Isa Bal MS and Attica Winemaker Chryssa Gribabi. Guests can register for either the masterclass or open pour tasting, or both! Masterclass: 10am - 11.15am Open pour tasting: 10am - 4pm

About The Event
This masterclass and tasting will explore the diversity of the Savatiano grape, the most important grape variety of the Attica wine region in Greece. Isa Bal MS and Chryssa Gribabi will lead us through a tasting of different styles of wine, including barrel fermented, skin contact, natural, and terroir-driven expressions of retsina!
We will show 10 wines during the masterclass and then 40 wines from 20 different producers at the open pour tasting. The open pour tasting will include other important grape varieties of Attica such as Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis and Agiorgitiko.
Guests can register for either the masterclass or open pour tasting, or both! The open pour tasting is also open to consumers so please feel free to invite non-trade friends along!
Please note that due to strict Greek/EU funding regulations, the wine labels will be covered for this event and the wine names will not be listed in the tasting booklet. We will however provide a list of the producers who have submitted wine.
